Community Relations/Operations Manager
The Autism Science Foundation is seeking a marketing, website, blog and social media enthusiast who can both design and produce original content. The person will also develop marketing materials, represent the foundation at community events, and provide general office support.  He/she will also handle the many administrative tasks associated with a non profit, including IRS compliance tasks.  This is a full time entry level position.

The right person will have experience, expertise or ability to quickly learn the following:

  • Microsoft products
  • Constant Contact
  • Drupal
  • Adobe products
  • Graphic design/layout software
  • Online video editing
  • Usage and in-depth understanding of social media tools

This individual should have superior writing, research, and editorial acumen with an ability to craft messages for various social and traditional communications outlets, and have strong presentation and public speaking skills.  This person also needs to be highly organized and able to juggle multiple administrative tasks. We are a small, growing organization. The new employee should expect to participate in all our activities – leading some and assisting with others.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience in the areas outlined above
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Strategic thinker, excellent writer, creative marketer
Experience in online community/social media for a business or organization
Strong project management and interpersonal skills; team player
Science, health and medical knowledge or experience.  Personal or professional experience with autism is a plus, but is not required.
Bachelor’s degree
